I The World

Find your place in the world

Find your footing in a shared fantasy world where preparation, professions, and relationships shape everyday life. Follow quests and guidance when you want direction, or pursue goals of your own. Build a home, venture into the unknown, and leave your mark on the world.

01

Survival starts with preparation

Shelter, provisions and tools matter. We're designing survival around the work of finding your footing and building stability. A place to return to makes the next journey possible; keeping it supplied gives everyday life a purpose.

02

Choose your own rhythm

Crafting, exploration and caring for a home can be part of the same life. Find guidance when you need it, and change your priorities as you discover what matters to you.

03

Help shape the world around you

Our vision connects survival with a changing world. The need for shelter, supplies and tools gives people reasons to build, work and trade. Those who settle and those who travel both have a place in that story.

II Adventure and conflict

PvE adventure, with meaningful conflict

PvE is central to Chronicle. PvP belongs to specific conflicts, with defined rules for participation and consequences. Those who stay out of war retain protection for their characters and personal property.

The wider world can still feel the effects of conflict. Large-scale wars are envisioned as clashes between simulated NPC armies, separate from player PvP battles.

III The people behind the world

A small team. Naturally, an MMORPG.

We're Erwin, Federico and Nicholas, the team behind Chronicle. We're bringing software experience, a willingness to learn and a shared ambition to the world we want to build.

We chose to build an MMORPG. Yes, we know the meme.

Meet the team

IV From the Journal

They say your first game shouldn't be an MMORPG. Naturally, we decided to build a persistent fantasy world with survival, politics, and player-driven economies. We're two software developers moving from fintech to fantasy, armed with years of experience, questionable ambitions, and a concerning amount of documentation. What could possibly go wrong?
